Stop the NDP from Ruining Bill C-368
Bill C-368 is a private member’s bill introduced by Conservative MP Blane Calkins in concert with NHPPA’s Shawn Buckley. It is designed to reverse recent changes to the Food and Drug Act which puts Natural Health Products (NHPs) in the same category as pharmaceuticals.
NDP MP Peter Jillian has introduced amendments to the Bill which would completely ruin MP Calkins’ effort.
Stop the Amendments by writing to our MPs, especially the NDP.

Radio Basics 3 - Getting to Know Your Handheld Radio
Wed July 31 at 9:00 pm EDT
Rob K of SK will be conducting his third in a series of education sessions about radio.
This session will be focused on getting to know how to use your Baofeng (or other) handheld radio including:
- how to input or select a frequency
- how to listen
- how to talk
- how to set up your radio
- how to charge the battery
- anything else you want to know
He will be start by opening the box and then go from there. If you recently got a radio, you will want to see this one. And have your radio with you.
The session will be on Wed July 31 at 9:00 pm EDT (check for the correct time in your zone).

Young Adults Meeting - Alberta Edition
We invite you to join our young adult network group for 20's & 30's -Alberta Edition.
This is a great way to make new connections, create a sense of community, develop friendships and personal connections with other like minded young adults.
The impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic are still unfolding but some implications are evident. The last few years have made it difficult for young adults to connect. There has been less interaction, creating feelings of disconnection for many. A sense of belonging, connection and support is critical for our well-being and to thrive.
We hope to create a network to help our young adults achieve fulfilling relationships and a sense of belonging.
